On a sunny day at the softball fields, something big was about to go down. Shiner and Magellan, two powerhouses in the retail and alcoholic beverages industries, teamed up to create a surprise event that nobody would forget.
The Details
The plan was simple: a big truck and trailer with Shiner/Magellan branding would roll up, and everyone would be treated to some amazing giveaways, including Shiner beer. The goal of the project was to capture this exciting collaboration in action.
To make this happen, our team was brought on board to film and photograph the event from start to finish. We had 3 camera operators and a photographer ready to capture every exciting moment. Planning with the client beforehand was crucial to ensure we were in the right place at the right time. On the day of the event, we were there for about 8 hours, capturing every moment of excitement. Post-production took about 2 weeks to complete.
The biggest challenge of this project was to capture the excitement of the event and show off the collaboration between the two brands. But with the help of the enthusiastic people at the event, we were able to capture some truly amazing shots. The event went fantastically well, and the people were excited and surprised.
The client loved the end product, and it definitely achieved its intended outcome, as it got Academy Sports + Outdoors’ customers to see the new collaboration and led to more people buying the products. The project was within the client’s budget, and it exceeded their expectations. The long-term benefits of the project were clear, as it successfully created a collaboration with an external brand and made sure people were excited about it.
