So your video is ready to be edited. What does this mean for your project? This is our post-production process and today, we’ll be explaining everything about this leg of your production.
Post-production is everything that follows the production phase. It includes editing, sound design, color grading, ADR, graphics, or visual effects that will make your video shine.
Throughout post-production, all drafts are uploaded to Frame.io, a system which allows clients and editors to exchange and review feedback down to the frame. When using Frame.io, we highly recommend viewing from a computer monitor as it will have higher functionality than a mobile device.
Post-production typically includes three rounds of revisions. The first is a rough draft. This should focus on specific shots used, music selection, text and the overall message of the video. This round should receive the most feedback.
The second draft will be very close to what the final version will look like. Here, revisions requested in round one will be completed. This draft focuses on color grade, graphics, animation and sound design.
The third and final draft will be made once any additional notes and requests are received. Once you approve the final draft, all video assets will be shared via Google Drive. If you feel like any further changes need to be made, an hourly service fee will be charged for the additional time.
